Callum Pithie - Director

As co-founder and development manager at Vale, Callum oversees the entire development process. He has an unwavering focus on quality, and is continually searching for ways to raise the bar and develop even better, more sustainable homes.
​
Callum previously worked as a geotechnical and structural engineer. Following the Canterbury earthquakes, Callum teamed up with Vale co-founder Zach Staples to remediate damaged homes, completing over 40 projects in three years.
​
Outside of work, Callum likes to spend time with his partner Morgan and his pooch Pickle. He also likes to unwind in Canterbury's great outdoors, usually on his mountain bike or snowboard.

Zach is co-founder of Vale and is responsible for finance and development funding, alongside sourcing and securing development opportunities for future projects.
He holds Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce degrees and has a strong background in property development and construction. This includes running his own construction businesses and remediating earthquake damaged, ‘as is where is’ homes in Christchurch.
At the weekend Zach likes to make the most of family time with his fiancé and their two young kids, as well as keeping fit and enjoying the outdoors doing multi-sport events, fishing, diving and hunting.
